Summary | 0012323: Permalink creation does not save top right project filter (near Switch button)
Description | Hello, I've created 3 permalinks to list open issues of 3 projects. These are filtered using advanced filter "Project" field. This is particulary frustrating when having "similar" project, like "My super project A" and "My super project B". Wouldn't a permalink also store which project filter was used at that time?

This issue can be confirmed here and unfortunately, it makes the great Permalink-Feature unusuable for us. Is there any workaround for this, did anyone yet have a look at this? Thanks! |

This is because the project tracking (top-right corner) is stored in a cookie, which is not saved in the permalink. Note that I did not test this, but did you try as workaround to specify the target project (in the "advanced filters" mode) ? |

Yes, this 'mostly' works ;-) 'Mostly' because we've seen several times that the user looses everything as soon as he changes to the "simple filter" version of the page. So as soon as users shall receive the permalink and are supposed to work with that list on from there, it does not work. Currently, my workaround is using the roadmap for lists I want to hand over, as this is realiable when it comes to the tickets it shows (although it's obviously something completely different than the ticketlist). |
