Summary	0022331: LDAP Authentication not creating users
Description	Prior to MantisBT 2.x, when the authentication was set to LDAP and a new LDAP user signed in, an account was created in Mantis. As of MantisBT 2.x the user account is not created and the user is unable to sign-in. With 2.0, if we manually created an account in MantisBT that matched the account name in LDAP, the user was able to log in, but no information was pulled from LDAP to complete the user name or email fields. We upgraded to 2.1, and with the same LDAP settings no LDAP user can log in, either those with a manually created account that matches their LDAP user, or new users.

helfy022 2017-09-29 13:56 reporter ~0057857	Hello, We are experiencing the issues noted in this bug using MantisCore version 2.5.1. Users that have a valid LDAP username/password cannot login to MantisBT if they do not have a MantisBT account created for them. No signup option is provided, and administrators must manually create accounts (as opposed to the LDAP-compliant user being automatically added as a valid MantisBT user). Please advise as to the next steps. Is/are there configuration setting(s) updates that will allow for LDAP-compliant users to sign up for or have automatically created a MantisBT user account? Or, are there pending MantisBT infrastructure updates that must be pursued in order for LDAP-compliant users to obtain MantisBT accounts without the manual intervention of an administrator? atrol 2017-10-24 14:49 developer ~0058046 Last edited: 2017-10-24 14:49	Setting to resolved, as 0023534 shows, that auto creation works at least in versions 2.7.0 Feel free to reopen the issue if it's not resolved after upgrading to 2.7.0.
