Summary0023158: MantisGraph pages flicker in certain conditions
Description

When I browse the Summary charts on 2.5.1 in Google Chrome (Windows 59.0.3071.115 (Official Build) (64-bit)) with the window maximised, Bookmrks bar hidden, and Mantis sidebar expanded to show both icons and titles, the pages with bar and pie charts (By Status, By Resolution, By Priority, By Severity) flicker badly as if the page is continually reloading.

The flickering stops if I open Developer Tools to try to see the Javascript and Network Console log, it also stops if I unmaximize the browser, show the Bookmarks bar in the browser or shrink the sidebar to only icons.

It does this on my production server, but not on a test server I have installed on localhost, so may also be affected by running mantis in debug-mode.

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Use Google Chrome with browser window maximised and bookmarks bar hidden.
  2. Make sure sidebar is showing both icons and titles
  3. Select Summary from sidebar, and By Status at top of content area.
Additional Information

Probably reproducing this is system specific (possibly graphics driver specific) due to all the conditions I have found that stop this flickering. But if you have any ideas how to debug this I am willing to try to provide more info.

@jasonrumney, Do you think it's the same issue of 0022249 ?

Most probably, yes. The video there looks similar - mine is only shaking horizontally, but that probably depends on which scrollbar is at its limit.
