New Install

Hello- New to the forum, so first, thank you all in advance for the answers I have been able to find.

Second, I have used Mantis before, and used the changelog and roadmap parts a lot in the last place I used Mantis. I had control of version numbers, publish dates, fixed in this version, planned for that version, etc. It was great for product development and planning.

So I wanted to use it again, but had to do my own installation. So I did a basic install of Mantisbt 1.2.17 and when I go into the report issues, I do not see any of the options to add versions, specific product categories, etc. The [Manage] menu looks completely different. Looking back at my old notes, we were using a 0.1x version of Mantis at my old job.

Is there a default list of params to set the screen to look more like the screen in this page: http://www.mantisbt.org/bugs/view.php?id=3164 ?

You have to use page Manage > Manage Projects to assign versions and categories to a project.
After that you will see the fields when reporting issues.
Please use Search before posting and read the Manual
