BUG!!!! issue with Summary Page - By Category

Tried to report this as a bug but Mantis makes it incredibly difficult to actually REPORT an issue....sheeshh..anyway


When I view the "Summary" Page and scroll down to the 'By category' section, I am noticing that some of the categories are repeating.

Now for this example I was on a particular project selected in the Project Broswer (please see the first screenshot)

When clicked on a particular project you see that Change Request, Corrective Action, Nonconformance, Preventative Action, Maintenance Log and Change Notice appear to be repeating.

As you can see it appears as though the Change Request, Corrective Action, Nonconformance, Preventative Action, Maintenance Log and Change Notice gets repeated. If you add up the totals (last column) for Change Notices you get 76 + 25 = 101. If you click on the number 76 which is hyperlinked to the change notices, you get to see that there are indeed 101 change notices.

Now for my next example I will click on "all projects" and you will notice that it appears as though Change Request, Corrective Action, Nonconformance, Preventative Action, Maintenance Log and Change Notice gets repeated multiple times. (please see second screenshot)

When clicked on 'all projects' you see that Change Request, Corrective Action, Nonconformance, Preventative Action, Maintenance Log and Change Notice appear to be repeating over and over again.

Is it possible i'm misunderstanding what the summary page does? Is there a way to get the summary page / by category broken down to show sub-projects instead of just listing Change Request, Corrective Action, Nonconformance, Preventative Action, Maintenance Log and Change Notice over and over again?

We have an old version of Mantis running in our production env, running version 1.1.2, when you click on 'all projects' and scroll down to the by category section all that is listed appears to be the TOTALs for each of the Change Request, Corrective Action, Nonconformance, Preventative Action, Maintenance Log and Change Notice entries. (please see screen shot 3)


Is this a bug perhaps?

As a work around I have disabled the summary - by category section in Mantis so that it does not even display.
