Is there a step by step guide for setting this up?
I installed mantis 2.9.0 on my Synology DS1815. I created a gmail email account and set notifications in the synology panel to sync to the gmail account. When i test the email settings the email is delivered from the synology settings. However, i cannot get MantisBT notifications to send when there have been changes to the tickets.

The initial emails did appear after 1 hour but i have not had any since. I also have the added issue of not being able to send password reset requests due to this issue.

Is there documentation or guide for dummies anywhere to help in the setup of mantisbt on synology devices?? I realise they are a bit behind in version numbers but I assume it should still function.

I installed mantis 2.9.0 on my Synology DS1815

This version is quite outdated and should no longer be used as there are major security issues in it.


This is not a bug or feature request for MantisBT (you are asking for help on how to install MantisBT on a Synology system). I am therefore resolving this issue as "no change required".

Please contact Synology support, as the MantisBT team does not know how the MantisBT Synology installer works.
