| Summary | 0009411: bug reporter, bug handler, and access level of reporter, developer | ||||
| Description | When I review the below two "Summary" reports, I am wondering if the term Developer in the report headings should be changed to the term Handler : The below observation is just trivial, but I would like to hightlight too. Mantis access levels are : The term Reporter has been used in both. This can cause potential confusion. | ||||

I can see your point. The names of the access levels are really based on the default settings. Once the administrator changes the access levels required to do actions, it can be confusing. Given that it is possible to change access levels, and product strings without changing the distribution files (through custom_strings_inc.php and config_inc.php), I don't see a need to change what we currently have as a default. I'm not sure if I like the term handler for the end user. I believe it is ok for the admin. |

I suggest to call the Summary Reports instead of calling them "handler". |
