I was not able to reproduce the issue.
Did you try the recommended version 2.26.1?

I recommend to upgrade to latest stable version (2.26.1 at the moment) as a first step.

Dabei zunächst sehr genau beschreiben welche Umgebung zum EInsatz kommt (Betriebssystem, Datenbank, PHP Version), welche Konfigurationen gemacht worden sind, wie sich das Problem äußert und ob Fehler oder Warnungen in die log-files eingetragen wurden.

When getting a blank page, first check web server and PHP error logs.

Didn't read carefully what you wrote.
There is also another option to change status.
Select the status in dropdown list, after that push button "Change Status To:" left beside the drop down.
