Does anyone have an idea on how to solve this?

When I try to upload an image or zip file to Mantis BT it says that the operation is done.
If i check the uploaded file I only see a small part of it (if i'm lucky) or just a corrupted file. With ZIP it's almost every time inaccessable.

I'm using version 1.6 and the only thing that I have ...

What causes this error to come up because I also get it on a lot of pages..
Updating issues etc.

I'm using version 1.6..
What is the cost of upgrading to the latest development release?
