I am actually working with mantis to track our bugs. We use this system to track internal bugs but also to report the bugs that our customer can find (they use their own Bug tracking tool, but for convenience reasons, we use mantis to that we can do our own reports on bugs they can find ...

Okay, I got mantis running on mysql 3 now.

The thing is, I read the manual and met the requirements. But everytime when I create a new user it fails to send an email. How can email be setup? This was not in the manual....
replied a similar post just a few days back.

Interesting..., I uninstalled mysql 4.1.20 and installed mysql 3.23.58 and mantis installs fine. Why 4 and 5 mysql doesn't work???
I have the same problem.

I tried playing around with the PHP connectors at mysql website but it didnt work.error message is
"Checking PHP support ...

Hi everybody!!!

Everytime I create a user, or update a status on a report, I get this message on a page right after the change:

PROBLEMS SENDING MAIL TO: xxx@xxx.xxx
Mailer Error: Could not instantiate mail function.

Can anybody help me out? I´m very new to Mantis and very new to PHP and MySQL ...
