Hi All!
I just upgraded from a vanilla 1.1.6 installation to 1.2.5. Here's what I did:
1) I backed everything up (code and database)
2) Deleted all the code
3) Uploaded code for the new version
4) Uploaded the config_inc.php file.
5) I ran admin\install.php. It tells me everything ran fine

Just FYI... it worked perfectly. All I had to do was delete the other projects and everything was nice and clean.
