Re: Upgrading instructions
Yes, the /data directory I'm referring to is for attachments. By default, there is no /data directory in the Mantis root directory. I neglected to reflect that in my instructions. So if your instance does not use attachments, you will not have the /data directory.

Excel reporting in Mantis 1.2.5
I recently upgraded a Mantis instance from 1.1.7 to 1.2.5. After the upgrade, I noticed that under Summary --> Print Reports, the option to print a report to Excel is missing. Word is there, but Excel missing.
Has this been removed in newer versions, or is there another method to do this?
Thanks!

Invalidated Session
Ever since we upgraded to Mantis 1.2.0, some users will on occasion experience an "APPLICATION WARNING #2702: Your session has become invalidated" when they try to create a ticket. The "fix" is to clear out your cache in your browser. Does anyone know why this is and if there is a permanent fix?

2. Download Mantis 1.2.0, unzip and rename directory to something like mantis120.

Re: Upgrading to 1.2.0 does not work!
I just upgraded from 1.1.8 to 1.2.0. The upgrade instructions say to move your configuration files into the new 1.2.0 directory. I did this and ran install.php and kept getting errors regarding a Mantis plug-in. Evidently the new version does not use a plug-in that the old version still referenced ...

Plus signs in fie attachment names
We upgaded from 1.03 to 1.1.8 and now when we select a file attachment that has spaces in the name, it saves it off with a '+' in place of the spaces in the file name. Is there a way to change this. How does Mantis handle spaces in file names for attachments?

Trying to detemine Mantis version
From what I've seen, the Mantis version is always displayed in the lower left corner of the Login Page. However, we have a Mantis instance running here that does not show the version.
