I was successfully able to link together Mantis and Test link on Ubuntu Linux. I hope what I learned will help others. It is not that difficult.
Install Mantis and Testlink separately on the same machine. Install Testlink in the folder "/var/www", so that it can be invoked directly from the ...

Test execution Software
Thanks for all the help to this forum members in answering my previous questions.

Re: Who should be able to change the severity of the issue
You are absolutely correct.
What I need is a configuration option like
$g_update_bug_severity_threshold = <Role>
I have no experience in PHP but I have been a programmer in the past. I hope I will be able to track the $g_update_bug_status_threshold variable and do the same for above. I will ...

Thank you for your reply. Your suggestion worked well.
But as a side effect - it has changed the look and feel of the all the mantis windows. The fonts have changed and the buttons have gone out of place.

Deepak

Duplicate issues
Lets say if I have 10 issues logged into a project in Mantis that I mark them as duplicate of each other.
If I close one of them - can all the bugs be marked as closed?
What can I do with duplicate bugs - so that if I do with one - it gets reflected in all others?
Regards
Deepak

Who should be able to change the severity of the issue
Right now the person entering the issue can set or change the severity of the issue.
What I want is that only a manager or administrator should be able to change the severity of the issue - not the person who is a developer or tester or updater be able to change the severity of the bug.

Link in notification email for password reset is incorrect
I am a administrator for mantis running on Ubuntu Linux laptop. I have a static IP address and a domain name (deepak.verizon.com) for this laptop.
When I reset a user's password - he gets a email:
"Someone (presumably you) requested a password change through e-mail verification. If this was not ...
