Re: One mail, two bugs reported

In case your interested Another user contacted us through the MantisBT issue tracker with performance problems https://www.mantisbt.org/bugs/view.php?id=25701 This resulted in a change that again improved performance significantly https://github.com/mantisbt-plugins/EmailReporting/commit/b79122de346...

Re: One mail, two bugs reported

You modified your code incorrectly.
The dollar signs are missing on multiple lines for $p_flags

I suggest you go here https://github.com/mantisbt-plugins/EmailReporting and click the "clone or download" button and click on "download zip"

use that to overwrite all existing files

Re: One mail, two bugs reported

You are right concerning the line where it goes wrong. As i understand it, the folder in the mailbox contains quite a lot of old, already processed, emails. So EmailReporting makes a lot of flag checks to see whether they are marked as deleted/processed. It might be that Office365 does not like that...

Re: Warning message : ..scheduled job is not run with the same user account as the webserver

In your cronjob you can specify the user account under which it must be run. I believe you've done it. The next time the job is run EmailReporting should update the records accordingly There should actually be some more lines below your copy/paste which specify the current user accounts under which ...

Re: Warning message : ..scheduled job is not run with the same user account as the webserver

you are running bug_report_mail.php (EmailReporting command line job) under a different user account then the webserver. This can be problematic under linux, Windows often has less issues with this. Linux for example will apply permissions under the user that created the file. Meaning that EmailRepo...

Re: APPLICATION ERROR #401: Database query failed. Error received from database was #1153

DISK has not a real size limitation as long as the partition can support it and you have enough free space https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_file_systems#Limits Still, processing an email also requires memory. Around 6 times the size of the email So a 10 MB email would require 60 MB of mem...

Re: APPLICATION ERROR #401: Database query failed. Error received from database was #1153

The attachments MantisBT is trying to add to an issue are bigger then your database configuration is able to accept https://www.mantisbt.org/wiki/doku.php/mantisbt:plugins:emailreporting#maximum_attachment_size Either lower MantisBT $g_max_file_size or increase your databases max_allowed_packet vari...

Re: One mail, two bugs reported

What might have happened is that EmailReporting did not fully run to completion. If EmailReporting encounters a fatal error before fully finishing the mailbox, emails are not deleted/marked as read. We've recently found an issue with reference id parsing. https://github.com/mantisbt-plugins/EmailRep...

Re: mail reporter resend mail to registered/unregistered users

That would be a manual action after the user has been created. The user by default gets global: $g_report_bug_threshold This is the access level required to open a bug. The default is REPORTER. But maybe you shouldn't use it as a permanent solution but rather as a way to find out why it did not work...

Re: mail reporter resend mail to registered/unregistered users

The email address is only in the description because of this configuration option: http://www.mantisbt.org/wiki/doku.php/mantisbt:plugins:emailreporting#mail_save_from It's only for information. The email address of the user needs to be the exact same as the email address from which he's sending the...

Re: mail reporter resend mail to unregistered users

If the mail reporter is the reporter, MantisBT will not send notifications to the unregistered users

A user needs to have an account to receive notifications

Re: Does this vulnerability affect email plugin?

The PEAR projects being used are checked for all code changes before a new version is included in EmailReporting

This makes it less likely a vulnerability slips in. The PEAR files have not been updated since 2017 (there hasn't been an update to update to)

So i think we're safe
