Re: Using Mantis as your PM tool?
Yes, I've been using it as a pm tool for years. Love it. Much easier to work with (in my opinion) than even for-fee products like Jira.

Mantis 1.2.0a1
I notice that 1.2 alpha one is up. I have some users clamoring to customize CSV and Excel exports and would love to try it out.
Will there be a formal-ish release of alpha one, or should I grab from svn?
Thanks!

Favorite IDE?
Just curious.. what IDE do the developers of Mantis use?
I'm an old Emacs hand but looking around at some of the newer alternatives.

Removing handler_id from status in View Issues
Sorry for the cross post (http://www.mantisbt.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=4538#p11948), but this is driving me nuts. Can anyone recommend a way to remove the parenthetical handler_id from the status column in View Issues? We've added handler_id as a column of its own (sortable) and it is redu...

Re: Adding additional columns in View Issues
Hi All,
We're looking to do the same thing: Create a separate column for handler_id so that we can sort on that.
I'm not quite following this thread though. How did you remove the parenthetical handler_id from status column?
Thanks

Plugin Architecture
Just curious about the state of Mantis' plugin architecture. Seems like there are a couple of efforts underway. Vincent Debout has his own manager (and a number of plugins) here: http://deboutv.free.fr/mantis/ Yet the Mantis team seems to also have a couple of irons in the fire: http://www.mantisbt....

Re: Reports in pfd available ?
View Issues -> Print Reports gives you the option of exporting to Word or Excel. From there, if either of these layouts is what you are looking for, you can save to PDF.

New Severity Item: Task
Has anyone else felt the need for there to be a "task" item under Severity? Something that is neither a feature nor a problem; just something that needs to get done eventually?

Periodically getting blank page on Windows (Mantis 1.1.0a2)
I've run Mantis with no problem many times on a variety of Linux platforms; fist time for Windows. We're running PHP5 on Windows Server 2003 with MSSQL as the DB. Mantis is "kind of" working, but often returns a blank page; typically after a call to update_bug.php. Any idea what would caus...
