If I want to assign the issue from the View Issue Details page, I don't seem to be able to use the dropdown to change the "Assign to" or "Change status to"

I can select from the dropdown but I don't see an "update" or "OK" button to ...

Ok, I finally got it to work, I had to create the db manually in Panel and create a new user who had access to the db, then I got the Mantis install to work. Hope that helps future users.
