Is there any way to make the date and time fields for notes editable.

I put notes in manually against tasks, but at the end of the day I need to add email comments that have come in from users and I would like to put the actaul email time, to keep the notes in meaningful order.

Having now played with it for a bit, I've now realized that it does not really do what I want, since it requires assigning a separate version for each project and isb-project and that's what is is in the dropdown.

Funny you should post this today, when I decided I wanted to use this feature and can't find any way to set it either.

Those /* */ have commented out that code - but why has that been done?

When I add a custom field as a checkbox Yes,No

I get an error every time I try to update an issue. IF I redefine the custom field to be a string, then it works.

I want to mark tasks that I'm actively working on, but are going to take more than a day to solve. I also need to mark tasks that have issues that need feedback from the customer.

When I start up Mantis and go to Manage Filters and select a filter, nothing changes. I have to do it a second time. However, once I've selected a filter, selecting other filters works the first time I click on one.

It this normal, or a bug?

Thanks - that solved it. I'm now up and running.

I just downloaded and installed to my server. admn/check.php says all is ok, but there is no http://[yoursite/]mantis/admin/install.php present, so no tables are created.

There was no install.php in the file I downloaded
