Re: How can we Contribute ?
OK, let me rephrase. The decision was made a long time ago not to accept financial donations for mantis coding etc as it wouldn't be feasible to share freely. I only contributed to the project on that basis. In terms of mantis time I DID NOT take a break during 2011-2013. Work was done then on what ...

Re: How can we Contribute ?
Michel, The decision was made a long time ago not to ask users for donations. Mantis has been developed by a number of people, and if donations were accepted, those would have need to have been shared amongst contributors. I spent over 10 years working on Mantis and received nothing for my time and ...

Re: SOAP API - mc_issue_add - doesn't like reporter id
Hi Sketa, From the error message you receive, it looks like you are using MSSQL - I personally run MSSQL with Mantis in production at work, and have been a developer on mantis for the last 10 years. It is a known issue that support for non-MySQL is problematic in the current release - we are plannin...

Re: Blank page running install.php
yeah, can't really try and help there
my only suggestion could really be, why about using php in fastcgi mode with apache (or nginx) - at least you wouldn't have to try and update apache then, and you seem to think the command line version of php is working fine.

Re: Make a Copy of Record Before Deletion
What about creating multiple private sub-projects (as atrol / yourself seem to have worked out) - one for each main project? - Project A - Project B - Archives -- Archive A -- Archive B This would at least let you keep the issues separate. If you could outline the reason you are doing this a bit mor...

Re: Make a Copy of Record Before Deletion
a) do you actually want to delete the issue - remember if an issue is closed it doesn't appear in the default filters so is 'hidden' b) if you do want to delete the issue, I'd probably be inclined to say you'd need to create a custom plugin to mantis to do this (That hooks the delete event) and perf...

Re: Howto prevent reporting duplicates
Can you report a bug in the issue tracker to add this feature? This actually makes a lot of sense and is a fairly common thing to do. I'd like to say it would be good to create a plugin to do this, but given you'd really want to bounce users around in a sensible way, this might be something that wou...

Re: Blank page running install.php
and i'd just logged into forums to ask you / check whether you could use /u with preg_* commands. Given that you are still having problems and this works at the command line, if you could confirm the fedora version you are on, and spin up a virtual machine for testing. Feodora seems to be up to rele...

Re: Mantis 1.3 - Oracle Fixes
it'll probably be a short while yet (as we've not even done any alpha releases) At the same time, I'd argue if you are looking for a stable experience that you may be better waiting to see when we release the new db layer, to avoid any possible upgrade issues etc. Note: that's my personal opinion, b...

Re: Blank page running install.php
I'll install a copy of Fedora Code over the upcoming weekend, and look into whether I get the same behaviour and come up with a sensible fix for this.
