In the config_default_inc.php file you have 3 variables to set the date format:

$g_short_date_format
$g_normal_date_format
$g_complete_date_format

Create a new table and use the id to link the tables.

Did you check your preferences settings?

You need to patch the dokuwiki like I did. By doing this you'll probably have the issue about the administrator login. That's exactly what I was trying to avoid in the first place! But it's pretty important to me to have this functionality. Ideally this would be an option in your plugin control pan...
