php7?

Searching around I don't see any reference to php7, but I was wondering if anyone knows if it's support or doesn't work for 1.3.0rc1? Apologies if it's documented somewhere and I missed it. I'm running the installer and it tries to install before throwing Setting Database Type GOOD Checking PHP supp...

Re: Mantis - Phone app: Android

I never thought I would need a phone app for mantis.. but I do. We have a crazy project going on (people working nights and weekends) and literally I find myself spending days in airports when developers need feedback ASAP through mantis. I need to be able to respond within the hour when on trains, ...

Re: Uploaded attached file corruption problem on download

Well, we upgraded to 1.2.3 and the issue seemed to go away. I'm not sure what changed, but this seems to no longer be an issue.
Thanks.

Uploaded attached file corruption problem on download

I've been going through postings here and in the mantis tracker and see some that seem similar, but perhaps different, than my problem. I'm also not clear on the fixes that I should try. The issue is that some files (PDF, XLS, ZIP for sure) get corrupted most of the time when downloading. The errors...

Re: Using mantis for project management!?

Just in case anyone is interested, here is a link to a start on a design for task/project tracking system that aligns with our needs. Just simple.

Re: Using mantis for project management!?

We are struggling to find simple-yet-effective tools for project management as well and we also heavily rely on Mantis. Just FYI, our needs are: 1. Create tasks (by PM) 2. Assign tasks to worker(s) with: planned start date (optional), planned end date, billable hours to accomplish the task 3. Each w...

We use it in all of our projects now as a requirement. That means that we've used it in about 25 projects over the last couple of years ranging from 2 to 15 developers.

Everyone we work with (clients, subcontractors) ends up using it in their operations after they got used to using ours.

We whipped up a little logo for our internal use, but it's not as nice as the logo below (and the little ones that go with it). I vote for that one.

Haven't been through the forums in a while... Since I first asked for this we've grown comfortable with MySQL backing mantis and I haven't been asked to continue looking into Oracle support. But, if the need arises again we might be able to put some resources into making it work. Unless I've missed ...

This looks great. I tried it out and I love the way it uses the filters applied to the current page to trim down the export. I don't know if this is practical, but... we are interested in the order of responses each issue gets, and so it might be nice to have the replies to each issue appear as chil...

There is only experimental support for mantis against oracle right now. Serahc this forum with 'oracle' and you will likely turn up the discussion. I think it left off where mantis needs more testing and perhaps a little tweaking to allow for full support of Oracle. Give it shot and report back to e...

We'd like to vote for this configuration option (preferably at the user level, stored in the database). Our users really preferred the stripped down look of 0.18.x series mantis and find the filters at the top of 0.19 and later a little overwhelming to see all the time. We'd also like to ask for the...
