Mantis emailing to all users
Hi guys, Weird issue. We had an issue trying to get Mantis to talk to a few mail servers and eventually gave up and went with a service called SMTP2GO.com. Works great, but what I have noticed now is when I add a new entry, the email is getting sent to the same 5 individuals (even if they have not b...

Mantis Email Server Settings / phpMailer_method = question
Hi guys, I have been using Mantis for a few years now and it's a great product, but I am having an issue and I was wondering if anyone knew the answer. My question is - Is there a way to specify another $g_phpMailer_method to specify TLS rather than SSL only? Here are my current settings # New Email...

Re: Does administrative user have access to the database?
Is there server actually running the database software? If the connection is being refused MySQL or whatever DB software you think you are running may not be.
Also check any firewalling on the host and the server
make sure you are entering the correct username / password for the SQL server.

Re: How to assign a default user to a new issue created?
Atrol, is this more along the lines of what I need?
What is the point of adding the user to the Project I have listed below? If someone creates a new issue under the project I have added the user to are the automatically assigned it? I'm confused lol
thanks

Under SW SBI - Project 205 I have various other sub-projects called Change Notice, Change Request, Work Request, Maintenance Log etc. When a user cl...

How to hide the 'Serverity' field when viewing issues
Does anyone know how to hide the 'Severity' column when viewing Mantis issues and not have mantis 'break'? I was able to successfully remove 'severity' from other areas (such as the bug reporting page, etc) but not from the main page. See screenshot below.
