The bug report was always assigned to the person responsible for the next stage of work, whether it was the engineer who had to fix the bug or the reporter who ha...

Re: What is the best way to ask feedback from reporters

When I view an Issue and click on the button Change Status To: and in the ComboBox I have status feedback. And then in the next screen, by Assigned To I want to select the reporter, but I only see Developers and higher. Regards, Gerrit. Hi Gerrit, I doubt that you would wish to assign the issue to ...

Nick,

You may wish to consult the W3Schools web site at http://w3schools.com/

PHP is under "Server Scripting" in the sidebar menu.

Re: Nested Components or Custom Hierarchy

Suppose you have two products where components of one product are also related to another product. Is it possible to create a "super product" which contains a set of components of product A and B? I've searched for an issue tracking supporting this feature .. is mantis able to do this? Ha...

Chris,

In my config_inc.php file I added the following code
# --- account pref defaults -------
$g_default_advanced_report = ON;
$g_default_advanced_view = ON;
$g_default_advanced_update = ON;
Do you think this would meet your needs?

SYSTEM WARNING: open_basedir restriction in effect....

Thanks Glenn, In config_inc.php I had configured $g_absolute_path_default_upload_folder with a typo. Now the upload works, but I still get the SYSTEM WARNING about the open_basedir restriction. Would this be an indication that there is another error in my configuration, or is this just something we ...

Tabs don't work in a Mantis news post

I have an EXCEL table of issues that I'd like to post as a news item. I've tried saving the EXCEL table in several different text formats, without success. If I open the text file in Notepad, the tabs work, lining up the columns correctly. When I copy/paste from Notepad into the Mantis news editor, ...
