Issue handling time for an item in mantis

Post by jithinkcs »

Hi,

I would like to know the issue handling time for an item in mantis. ie the time taken from an item to move from "New" state to "Closed" state. I installed a time tracker plugin but its not suitable for the requirement. I just wish to have an additional field in the view issue page "Issue handling time" and it should show the issue handling time in hours instead of days.

Mantis 1.2.4
PHP 5.x
MySQL 5.x

The answer is quite simple.
This is a forum with about 9000 users.
> 99.9% of them are asking questions.
< 0.1% of them are voluntarily providing answers whenever they can invest time for it.
e.g. you posted 70 topics with questions, I made about 4600 posts with answers.

To answer your question.
This is a known feature request: http://www.mantisbt.org/bugs/view.php?id=7954
You have to write a plugin that uses the information that is stored in bug history table to get what you want.

I am not aware that there is one that does exactly what you want.
Start your search from

http://www.mantisbt.org/wiki/doku.php/m ... he_plugins

Of course there are a lot more if you google for it.

Sorry, I can't spent hardly any time with 3rd party MantisBT addons.
