See the following post on my blog relating to Changelogs in Mantis. I have created this post to make it easier to understand/use/customise changelogs.

Re: Changelogs in Mantis
As per the comments to your blog - there is no way of showing change logs for projects that do not have release versions.
One of the projects I use Mantis for is a web site, which doesn't have versions, and really the change log it related to the date the change was made - I presume that this is not possible without creating artificial release numbers?
Ultimately it would be useful to be able to unlink Change Log from version numbers for this sort of project.

Re: Changelogs in Mantis
There are two options here:
1. Always have a "Next" version that gets renamed to YYYYMMDD based on the release date.
2. If you refresh your website per fix, then you seem to want something like "Timeline" which is a changelog that has fixed issues grouped by the resolve time. This is not currently supported.
