How often did you schedule the task scheduler? Try to set it every hour to find out if mantis gets slow @ the moments that the background job is active.

Actually we would like to send mails as soon as the issue is posted to make the developer to check on that. So we have configured 5 minutes once. Is there a possibility to do the fix without making the scheduler to run like one hour once.

We can't find out the root cause if you don't tell the result.

But if we set $g_enable_email_notification = OFF, there is no issues. The application is loading fine. So we expect that mail sending is causig delay

Ok, will set the scheduler one hour once, monior the results and get back. Thanks
