Hello there.
The roadmap is a wounderful feature, but I'm missing a usefull iCal export.
I think that's more important than any other export format.
This way a developer could have all milestones (versions) in his calender.
As far as I can tell, Mantis saves a "sorting date" to each version, why don't use this date for the all-day event "version release"?
Thanks for any interests in this feature.
Greetings from Rosenheim,
Andy

Some comments and questions:
1. Can I iCal item include more than one date?
2. Does anyone know of a good GPL PHP class that generates iCal? I haven't done any research.
3. If the dates change, is there a way to have clients like outlook recognize that the date has changes when the iCal is clicked, rather than creating a new one?
I would suggest that you report a feature request in the bug tracker and link it to the forum thread and vice versa.

Hello.
Some answers:
1. A file in iCal format can have many events and todos.
2. I don't know
3. Outlook doen't support iCal from the scratch - because it's a Microsoft product. You would need a plugin. But: Most calendar applications are able to use external calendars in iCal format. They update events from this calendar in different ways, but they do it themselves. So "all you have to do" is to offer a iCal-view to the roadmap.

Please report a feature request for this. If someone has the time and know how in this area, I would be happy to work with him/her and incorporate the feature in Mantis.
