Last Visit date incorrect

Post by sunq »

Hi,
The Last Visit date and time updates everytime you go to the Main page. Isn't this supposed to show the last time you were logged in? and only change the next time you log in to Mantis.

It currently shows the time of the last page you displayed. Your suggestion is good, but with the "save my login" checkbox checked, I don't have log in again for a few months.

We also use the last visit time stamp to determine who is currently logged in. At the moment figuring out this list is implemented as an API, but is not exposed yet at the user interface level. The API takes a session timeout parameter. Any user who has visited a page within this timeout period is considered to be logged in and actively surfing Mantis.

Victor

Ok Thanks for the explanation I now see what you mean. I than think the swedish translation is a little bit confusing, it says Last logged in.
I think I just skip to show this timestamp to my users I can't see that they have any use of it as it works today.
