plugin requiredfields gives error

When I install the plugin Requiredfields, I get the error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_required_fields() in C:\..\mantisbt-1.2.8\plugins\RequiredFields\pages\requiredfields.php on line 29

Which mantis version do you use?
Where you have downloaded the plugin from?
Is the plugin supported under your mantis version?

somehow I already had this problem before and it was solved with the correct DB right (couldnt create table). Tried it again on a clean version and it worked.

However, when I enable "version" to be required, it does not work. Target_version does....anyone an idea?

I get an error when I dont fill in the version (which is checked in the plugin), but the issue gets logged anyway.
