Invalid form security token

Post by ngong »

What I did:
- recently installed newest Mantis (however I do not know how to determin the installed version), MySQL 5.5.24, Python 2.7.3~rc2-1, Debian Linux 3.4.-4 on server and same on client with Iceweasel 10.0.6, or Win7 with Firefox.
- entered a new issue or
- added a not to an existing issue

What I expected:
to enter or change an issue

What I got:
every other entry

APPLICATION ERROR #2800 Invalid form security token. Did you submit the form twice by accident?

on Linux/Iceweasel and Win7/Firefox
even if I logout and login again, even if I newly enter an issue (not using the back button)

What I am doing wrong here? Any help welcome

Goto page "Manage" to see the version.

Ok thank you artrol

The installed Mantis version is 1.2.3, Schema 183.

The provided link says that this message is actually a timeout message. Ok, that makes sense: I am connected via 3G. But how to get around this? What are the quality requirements for the internet link? Is it possible to change the timeout limits?

I recommend to upgrade to latest stable version (1.2.11 at the moment)
We fixed a lot of bugs since 1.2.3, some security related.
If your installation is accessible by everyone in web you really should upgrade.
