Hi all,

We are facing issue with installing MantisBT in RHEL 7.
The scenario is that we have the mantis BT in one VM and MySQl is installed on another VM.
We checked the Mysql connectivity between two VMs and it looks good.
However we are getting the following error while installation.

Attempting to connect to database as admin:
BAD
Does administrative user have access to database?(Permission denied.)
We have referred to the following steps for installation:

and

Requesting help on the same.

Maybe you have not installed PHP mysql extension.

Thanks for your inputs..
We have already installed the pHP extension for MySQL and also tested connectivity between the two VMs using Mysql connector and Client.
please let us know if there is any way to resolve the issue.

Sorry but we dont have much idea on the PHP workhow and we followed the steps mentioned in the
installation procedures.

I don't use CentOS
