I'm trying to find a way to have a reporter still receive updates for an issue after it has been moved to another private projects. Currently, once the issue is moved to another private project the reporter loses visibility. Are either of the scenario's doable?
Here's the ideal scenario...
1.) User in our customer team submits an issue to a private project A.
2.) Issue is moved to private project B for our engineering team to resolve.
3.) User would still have visibility to the issue they submitted, but not to other issues within that ticket.
Alternative Scenario...
1.) User in our customer team submits an issue to a private project A.
2.) Issue is moved to private project B.
3.) User is added to the monitoring list for the issue.
4.) User receives updates and/or notes as engineering works to resolve the issue.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Email Notifications between two private projects
Scenario 1 will require changes to core scripts.
Possibly if the reporter is added as monitor to the issue in project A, next the issue is transferred to project B, your scenario 2 might work out of the box. You can test that.

I've tried scenario 2, but couldn't get it to work. The notification doesn't seem to be generated.
