Hi
Due to circomstances i need to migrate my mantis installation from linux to windows.
Everything is almost working ok except the existing attachments.
In the bugview, the attachment show "attachment missing".
Things I tried until now:
- in the table mantis_bug_file_table i changed file path in diskfile
(ex: /var/www/mantis/upload/Nieuws.be/df78c6474cf6da700... ==> upload/Nieuws.be/\df78c6474cf6da700...)
and folder
(ex: /var/www/mantis/upload/Nieuws.be/ ==> upload/Nieuws.be/\)
- in the projectmanagement I changed the upload folder to upload/Nieuws.be/\
Uploading files works perfect, only i cannot see the existing attachments.
Somebody an idea what i have to do to make it work or howto debug?

Re: Migrate from linux to windows: attachment issues
Did you set the $g_absolute_path_default_upload_folder config option in your config file to the right folder?
Are you sure all access options for the folder are correct?
Does it work with new attachments you add to tickets?

Re: Migrate from linux to windows: attachment issues
New attacthements work perfectly.
I tried out the $g_absolute_path_default_upload_folder parameter, but i get "syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE "
Mantis version is: Mantis 1.1.8
Sorry for my late respons, but i didn't get the notification on this thread.
Thx for your help

Re: Migrate from linux to windows: attachment issues
I've seen people reporting similar problems if the locale for the OS users were not the same.
Maybe your problem is in a way similar to the one outlined in this page http://www.linux.com/archive/feature/58689
