Relatively new to Mantis, but must say it's making working with my developer on the final stages of a project a lot easier!!
I've discovered that occasionally I end up reporting issues that turn out to be variations on the same underlying issue, and eventually the discussion back and forth becomes redundant if we keep both issue reports open.
I'm wondering if rather than closing one of the issues there's a way to merge the two. Or perhaps a way to create a link between them so that one could be closed and still easily retrieved from within the open report details if needed.
Is there a 'best practices' way of dealing with this sort of situation?
Thanks,
Scott

Merging: no it not possible.
Linking: yes you can (it is in the relationship section of the bug).

Thank you! Not sure how I missed it - that will work just fine!
