Assigning Issues to Users

Post by vburke »

I am a new Mantis Administrator using Version 1.1.8. Besides my own admin account, I have created 7 developer accounts. All developers are assigned to all (5) existing projects. Next I created a new issue. When I open this issue for update, in the drop down next to the "Assign To" button, I expected to see all 7 developers, but only 4 out of 7 are shown. I'm assuming I must have unintentionally set some value differently when creating the user accounts that do not appear. My question is: where do I go to see the actual details of the user accounts that I have created. Is it a MySQL table? I've tried to find some documentation on this but have been unsuccessful.

check your 5 projects. My guess would be that you created the accounts as developer for mantis. but when you assign a user to a project you can give them again an access role. this role overwrites the global one. So my gues is that 2 of your 7 users have a role below devoloper in your project
