How to customize summary_page.php

I want to customize the colors on the following page : summary_page.php
By Status - seperate colors for each status
By Severity - seperate colors for each status
etc

Is this possible and where should i do that.

Update: I have been messing around with the css file and have already made som color changes for the titles of some items.
