[Questions] Using Filters in All Project mode

Post by ngwl »

Hi!

I am using mantis 0.19.2. I have serval projects in my database.
when all project is selected, no user is shown in the "assigned to" field in the filter selection page. The filter works prefectly(ie. it can filter the posts that are assigned to a user) when I have selected any one of the project.

Is it a program bug or a configuration error?

Thx!

Best Regards

Solution

Hi!

I have finally worked out the solution of that problem.

I have three public projects. It is necessary to assign somebody to be the manager of those project in order to make the "assign to" function of the filter to work in all project mode.

Do we have to assign somebody to a project even if the project is public?

Thx!

Best Regards

When the project is "All Projects", only those with global DEVELOPER status are listed. This was done to prevent confusion as to which developers are associated with which projects.
