Is there still time/room for some minor changes?

Hi,

I started to use Mantis recently and I quite like it. Thank you for your efforts in creating it.

I found some minor issues and I'm wondering if there's still time/room for me to help out and fix them before the 1.0 final release. What is the estimated date of release so I know how much prioroty I should give it to start on the changes? That is, if you don't mind me helping out of course...

Most of the changes aren't significant if it comes to new functionality, it's mainly just minor stuff to improve the overall user experience.

You can request changes through the bug tracker at http://bugs.mantisbt.org/ . As long as they are minor, someone may sneak them in.

The reason I didn't add them to the tracker in the first was because it's a serie of small things and I didn't want to clutter the whole tracker.

You mind if I add them to the bug tracker and give it a go myself? I'm asking this in advance since I don't want to make anyone feel uncomfortable by just starting to change things in someone else's project, eventhough it's an opensource project. The reason I'd like doing it myself is because it's probably stuff you guys won't give a high priority in the near future.

I'll show up in the IRC channel in the near future to give some more info and as soon as I have some patches ready for you guys.

If they are minor changes and you provide the patches for them in the bug tracker they are likely to be applied to the code base. However, I would say that they will probably end up in Mantis 1.1 rather than Mantis 1.0. But again, this depends on the changes.

Guidelines:
1. Follow Mantis coding conventions.
2. Submit a separate issue + patch for each change.
3. I'd suggest including the modified file as well as the patch. For Windows developers sometimes patches don't apply well.
4. For non trivial changes, please discuss first on mantisbt-dev mailing list / IRC channel.
