Hello,
I am having a very annoying problem at the moment.
Manager A and B, they have their own 5 projects
Manager C and D, they have their own projects.
I would like to have manager A and B assigning certain projects to C and D at the same time
but
I don't want Manager C and D to have their panels filled up with the projects of manager A and B but only see they own 5 projects.
How can I stop this from happening please?
If I remove a project from a manager then the other 2 managers cannot see their friends names in the "assign to" drop down menu.
Please help,
Thank you,
Ben

Re: How to stop seeing some of the projects?
First managers should have a low GLOBAL credentials (maybe a reporter or a viewer). Then you should set all the projects to private. And then insert the following line to your config_inc.ini:
$g_private_project_threshold = UPDATER;
you can change this credentials to REPORTER if your users (including the managers) have a global account of VIEWER.
**EDIT: anyways its a good practice to have all your users with a low global credentials, and assign them credentials on a project basis. One exception is the ADMIN account which should be global and used only for site administration.

Hi IstVand,
Thank you for the reply.
I would like to have the users to:
Read, write, report and assign projects to other people.
Can a reporter to that please?
Thank you,
Ben
