How to rename a field label?

I renamed OS to Browser by editing this line in the strings_english.txt:
$s_operating_system = 'Browser';
On the Manage Profile Configurations page, it displays Browser. But on the bug report and bug update pages, it still display OS. Is there any other file that I need to update as well? Also, how do I change the Browser field to a drop down field?
