apache crashes with mantis

Hi,

I'm running into an annoying problem here...
we've had mantis running for over a year without much
problems. Last week I wanted to update my PHP and mysql
versions and decided to give XAMPP a try
XAMPP basically installs apache webserver, php and mysql
+ some extra goodies automatically

so after installing XAMPP I replaced the backups of all the php
applications that were previously running under IIS...
they all work fine, except for mantis

whenever I try to access the index.php page my apache server
just crashes

version info :

mantis version 0.19.0 (+ some customizations)
xampp for windows version 1.4.16
php version 5.0.5
mysql version 4.1.14
Apache/2.0.54 (Win32)

the following entry is added to the appliction event log

Faulting application Apache.exe, version 2.0.54.0, faulting module ZendOptimizer.dll, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x000128bd.

this error occurs both after moving the previous installation (IIS)
to the apache directory, and after a frech install

has anyone seen something similar?
Any clues about how to fix this?
Any version incompatibilities?

All help is welcome :)

Tnx

Has anyone found a solution to this?

I just upgraded to 1.10 today and when I go to the View Issues page, apache crashes.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Try reinstall xampp.
I have xampp - all work perfect.
