Mantis Bug Tracker - Forums

G'Day,

- I am wondering if there is some form of dynamic bug reporting possible with mantis. That is to either email a bug report in or craft a particular URL to submit the report.
- The application I am writing will be used on an intranet and when an exception etc. occurs I want to be able to give the user to a "single click" ability to submit the report.
- I came across http://bugs.mantisbt.org/view.php?id=4286 but it appears that this only went as far as RC3

So are there any other solutions to do this?

There's no 'official' email to Mantis interface although some do exist.

If you don't particular need it to go via email and just want automation, I'd suggest looking at MantisConnect. It provides a webservice to interact with Mantis plus comes with an already written .NET component to use it (although you don't have to use .NET at all).
