mantisconnect filtering by version

is there any way to filter what results are brought back from mantisconnect to mylyn?
It seem that the the "latest" and "all" queries bring back closed bugs?
Ideally I would like the query to ignore any bugs that have a "fixed in version" set to any version that is already released, but show bugs that are fixed in the version under development, or are not fixed.
Thoughts?
