mantis help reg steps to reproduce

hi all,
there is a field called "steps to reproduce" should i fill it with all the values that iam trying in the screen? cos i anyhow will b trying it out in my test case, or pls tell me wht else i shld do in that field called "steps to reproduce", some of u might have used it in ur projects, since iam new to this i have no idea regarding this so pls help me, i might sound silly to u people but this is a big matter for me.
