Mantis Bug Tracker - Forums

I've been told that sometimes when a bug is checked into mantis it sometimes takes quite a long time (up to a minute). I don't use the system very actively so I didn't experience it myself yet. But everything I checked seemed to work quite quickly. So my question is whether anybody else experienced this and what reason it might have. Might the indexing on the db (if there is anything done) take such a long time? There are probably only about 1200 entries so should be quite easy to manage things fast.

This has been reported intermittently.

In many cases, it has been diagnosed back to intermittent network problems, potentially with DNS resolutions. Beyond that, there has been no common thread.
