custom field values should refer another custom field

Hi All,
Is it possible to vary the custom field values based on another custom fields. Let me explain "Consider a custom field Development stage category with values A and B [Enumeration] and another custom filed Reason Category with values C and D [Enumeration]. I just want to implement , if i select A in Development stage category then automatically the reason category should be C. Same case if i select B in Development stage category then the reason category should change to D.
