Hello,

we are developing an iPad client for mantis and I want to make sure we don't develop something that is already there.
My focus is on offline management and push notifications. I am often at airports and in planes, a perfect time to sort open issues, but it does not work with the existing web client.

So my question is: is there an existing project for an ipad client for mantis that can handle it already? What we already have is a simple gui that authenticates and can download the latest 200 issues for offline reading and editing. My colleague will work on re-submitting the updates.

I think we can ship a first beta at the end of September if anyone is interested. So far, it uses the soap interface and a custom php script for push notifications.

Not sure if you're working on this, but it sounds like a great client - I'd be interested in it.

As far as I know there has been done some work to create an iPhone client for Mantis, so maybe it is iPad compatible. Not sure about the special iPad-only client. Besides, do you know if there's anything for Android?

And why mobile app developers don't make apps for Blackberry??? At least their number is much smaller.

I see only one iPad app so far (MantisClient)... anyone know of others?
