Mail object : encoding problem ?

Hi all,

Using MANTIS 1.0.1 French version.

I have a problem in the subject of all mails sent from Mantis.
Every time I have an accent in the subject, it is replaced by a strange combinaison... iso-.....

exemple :
=?iso-8859-15?Q?[Requeteur_Carto_des_projets_0000249]:_Supprimer_le_mot_"?= =?iso-8859-15?Q?Territoire"_dans_la_liste_des_Conf=E9rences_des_maires?=

Does anyone have an idea for the recolution of this problem?
The amazing thing is that this problem only occurs in the title of the mail and not in the body.

In my company, we are using "groupwise"... I don't know if it is linked to our mailer or to Mantis...

Thanks for your help.

Hi all,

I tried to install the version 1.1 because many encoding issues seems to be resolved...

The 1.1 fixes my problem.

Gregory

It is a mailer issue (not from Mantis) ;)

Hi,

A mailer Issue ?
Is there a mailer included in the mantis package ?

In my case, nothing has changedbetween 1.0.1 and 1.0.6 in terms of technical architecture.

regards,

Gregory

No there is not a mailer included into the Mantis package. The encoded characters in the subject (and also in the From/To... headers) are required (RFC 822 if I don't make a mistake).
I think that your mailer does not handle correctly this encoding chrarcter.
