On the website it states that version 0.84 is ready untill version 1.2.5 from mantis and 0.9.0 for later mantis versions.
However 09.0-dev is not advised for production systems.
Now we run mantis 1.2.10 with 0.8.4 of this plugin without problems.
What issues can one expect in this situation?
Will there be a final 0.9.0 and is there a planned date for it?

Because of changes to some constant variables in the MantisBT core, user creation by EmailReporting might not work as expected.

Not really a planned date for 0.9.0 as there are some big changes that still need a lot of work

That is good news; we do not use that functionality so we can wait for the next version
