Hi Guys,

I have an issue with the test_email. When I try to test the email it gives me an error:

Testing Mail - PROBLEMS SENDING MAIL TO......

I have checked the log and it says: cannot instantiate mail function

I have tried multiple suggestions on this forum but so far I have been unsuccessful.

I am current running:

Mantis 1.2.15
CentOS 6
PHP 5.4.15

We have a live version working with smtp server etc and this seems to be working without any problems. I only have this problem with CentOs.

Any help/ advice would be most welcomed.

It seems that you don't want to use SMTP on your CentOs system.
So you have to check that the mail system is working on your system. (try mail on the command line)
