Not sure if you have given this some thought in the past but people tend to add all kind of images @ the bottom of their email.
These now are also added to the issue.
Is there a way to ommit these attachments or can the difference not be distinguished?

At the moment there are two methods to exclude attachments.

1. MantisBT has settings that allow excluding certain file types. This would not help with the issue you presented
2. Create your own modifications to EmailReporting to block the required attachments

For the rulesystem i'm busy implementing there will be an option to block attachments based on a hash code. But as you know that is still in development i'm afraid
